Where We Started & Where We Are Today
Rich Perkins and Marilyn Bedford opened the doors
of Attitude Aviation in 1997. Rich still manages the company today.
Attitude was started with this goal in mind: "Aerobatics,
Taildraggers, and FUN!" In 1997 Attitude had one 3000
sq. ft. hangar, no office, and exactly one airplane. A
humble start, but a good one. Attitude has grown somewhat
since then. Attitude now has seven hangars totaling over 48,000 sq. ft. and 5000 sq. ft. of
offices, lobby, classrooms, briefing areas, etc. That one
aircraft has grown into a large, eclectic fleet of
meticulously maintained aircraft-for-hire, from Cub to
Jet. Attitude has its own maintenance facility, does all
the maintenance on its own fleet and offers outstanding
maintenance to outside aircraft. Attitude offers complete
training from basic pilot to full competition aerobatic
training, instrument, commercial and CFI. Attitude has run
contracts for Emergency Maneuver Training for 4 major
airlines, several law enforcement agencies, and various
universities here and abroad, Attitude is The Place for
EMT. Attitude's professional, experienced instructor corps
guarantees a fun learning experience for all pilots and
wanna-be pilots. Come by for a complete tour of our
aircraft and facilities. Rich tells call-ins, "Go visit
other flight schools, then come visit Attitude. Once you
see Attitude, you'll train with us!"
